SETCO Belts are manufactured using 100% pure nylon and are made on handlooms by well experienced weavers having 30 years experience. Special type of coatings is used to make the belt weightless, abrasion resistant, and to have very good grip. There is a common feeling that nylon belts slip, but the special coatings applied made the belt have very good grip and there is no question of slippage, and being made out of pure nylon with special coating that makes the belt solid becomes abrasion resistant .

TYPES

We make two types of belts one hard type and the other soft type. Hard type is ideal for heavy duty drives. Soft type is ideal for all types of drives, bucket elevators, transmission belting and conveyor belting.

We can also manufacture any size of belt as per customer's requirement.Tolerance widthwise ±5mm and thickness ± 0.5mm to 0.75mm.

Breaking strength of each string used for manufacture is 16kgs (gpt) .

4mm thickness belt contains 2strings x 60 = 120 strings per every 25mm width belt.

5mm thickness belt contains 3strings x 46 = 138 strings per every 25mm width belt .

6mm thickness belt contains 5strings x 32 = 160 strings per every 25mm width belt.

8mm thickness belt contains 7strings x 32 =224 strings per every 25mm width belt.

10mm thickness belt contains 9 strings x 32 = 288 strings per every 25mm width belt.

12mm thickness belt contains11 strings x 32 = 352 strings per every 25mm width belt .

ADVANTAGES OF USING OUR PURE NYLON BELTS

1.Percentage of broken rice can be reduced (In Rice Industry).

2.Life of our belt would be more than triple when compared to cotton elevator or rubber drier belt, prices are most competitive, but costlier than cotton elevator belts as these are made out of pure Nylon, but life much more than any other type of belt.

3.As regards elongation, it stretches once or maximum twice and once it stops stretching there would be no further elongation.

4.As the weight is very less power consumption comes down and about 40%power can be saved and the other advantage of being less in weight is there would be no load on the bearing and as such the life of bearing will definitely increase.

5.The belt is made solid using some special treatment and as such the yarns will not come out of the belt. There is no possibility of layers coming out like rubber belt (canvas belt)

6.Holes made for fixing buckets will be intact and there would be no damage near hole even after using the belt for several years, whereas in rubber or cotton belt it will get damaged at hole. Ours is an abrasion resistance belt.
